About A to Z Free SEO Tools

Who builds these tools, how they work, and what they will never do with your data.

A to Z Free SEO Tools is a collection of 51 free tools for people who work on websites: site owners, freelance SEOs, small agencies and developers who need an answer faster than they can open a spreadsheet.

Why it exists

Most of the questions that come up during SEO work are small. Is this title too long? Did that migration leave a redirect loop? Which images are missing alt text? Does the sitemap still list pages that 404? Each takes seconds to answer, but the tools that answer them are usually wrapped in a trial, a credit balance, or a signup wall that appears halfway through the result.

Everything here gives you the whole answer on the first run. There is no account, no credit system, and no blurred second half.

How the tools work

Roughly half run entirely inside your browser. Generators, converters, counters and calculators never send your input anywhere — the page does the work with JavaScript, so you can use them on confidential drafts without thinking about it.

The other half need a server, because they have to fetch a page, resolve a hostname or open a TLS connection. Those send only the address or text you typed. The result is cached for fifteen minutes so repeated runs stay fast, then deleted.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell, rent or share what you enter.
  • We do not keep a history of your lookups against your identity.
  • We do not host tools that download copyrighted video or audio from other platforms. Those tools break the platforms' terms, expose site owners to takedown notices, and are incompatible with the advertising that keeps this site free.

How it is paid for

Advertising. The tools cost money to run — bandwidth, a server, and API fees for the authority metrics — and ads cover it. We keep units out of the way of the tool itself: never above the input field, never between you and your result.

Corrections and requests

If a tool returns something that looks wrong, tell us what you entered and what you expected. If a tool you need is missing, say so. Both go to the same place: the contact page.
