Website SEO Auditor

Run 25+ on-page checks against any URL and get a score.

Audit one page at a time. Check the page you actually want to rank, not just the homepage.

About the Website SEO Auditor

An audit is only useful if it tells you what to change first. This one fetches the page the way a crawler does, then runs twenty-two weighted checks across the title, meta description, headings, canonical tag, images, internal links, structured data and response headers. The score out of 100 is a rough health signal, not a ranking prediction — no free tool can predict rankings, and any that claims to is guessing.

Read the failures before the score. A missing canonical on a page reachable at three URLs costs more than a title that runs four characters long, even though both show as a single line in the report. The checks are ordered by weight for that reason.

The crawler sees the HTML your server returns, not the page after JavaScript runs. If your content is built client-side, the audit will report far less text than a visitor sees, and that gap is itself worth knowing: Google renders in a second pass that is neither instant nor guaranteed for every page on a large site.

Common questions

What does the score out of 100 actually mean?

It is a weighted count of 22 on-page checks — title, meta description, headings, canonical, images, links, structured data and response headers. It is a health signal, not a ranking prediction; no external tool can see the hundreds of factors Google actually weighs.

Does it render JavaScript before auditing?

No. It reads the raw HTML your server returns, the same way a first-pass crawler does. If your content is injected by client-side JavaScript, the audit will show far less than a browser displays — that gap is itself worth knowing.

Can I audit a page that isn't live yet?

Only if the URL resolves publicly. The tool fetches over the open internet, so staging environments behind a login or an IP allowlist can't be reached.
